We sue car dealers and banks that hold the sales contracts. Most clients contact us to complain of minor issues and we uncover fraud – the types of fraud of which the typical consumer is completely unaware. The fraud includes charges for items not provided; failing to get the advertised price; packing payments; failing to disclose vehicle condition; forgery; backdating contracts; and, failing to comply with consumer protection laws. These laws include the Automobile Sales Finance Act, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, the Vehicle Code, and the Unfair Competition Laws.
We also defend consumers against the banks that purchased the sales contract and are threatening repossession or even post repossession. These are our favorite cases as we are many times able to defeat the bank’s claim and get our clients a complete refund and clean credit.
